When necessary, our staff may consult with your child's school and their staff. At times, our staff will go into your child’s school to assess his/her needs in the setting where they are learning.

When a classroom behavior plan is requested, your BCBA will conduct a functional assessment and write a behavior plan for the teachers. Your BCBA can then go into the classroom and train the teacher and other classroom staff how to implement the behavior plan.

When necessary, your BCBA will create materials based on their consultation to be utilized in the classroom setting. Your BCBA will also provide curriculum modification recommendations when necessary.

When the addition of a 1:1 aide is recommended, your BCBA may contribute specific observable and measurable goals. Based on your child's needs, our agency may recommend staffing the aide position with one of our trained clinicians.

Our BCBAs will attend IEP meetings as needed t]o advocate for students and their families.
